Rules and Guidelines

Rules 

  • Only single authored papers are accepted.
  • If the abstract is not orally presented (in person or online) at the symposium, the abstract will not be included in the symposium proceedings.
  • The Best Paper presentation of the Symposium will be awarded a certificate and medal.

Abstract Guidelines 

The Abstracts must be limited to 500 -  600 words  and must follow the format found in the guidelines below:

  • The Abstract must be submitted along with the Registration Form prior to the deadline mentioned under the tab 'Important Dates' above.
  • The Abstract will be required to pass a single-blind review. Applicants will be notified of the status of their submission by email. The decision of the review panel will be final. 
  • Successful authors would be required to make the necessary registration payment for participation/presentation at the Symposium.
  • Full Paper submission is compulsory prior to the event.

Full paper must be limited to 5000 words (excluding extended abstract) and must follow the format found in the guideline below :

  • Authors are strongly advised to follow the full paper guidelines

  • After submission of the full paper, BCIS ESS review committee will review the full papers. 

  • It is the responsibility of the author to follow the feedback received from the review committee and make the necessary changes accordingly.

  • Upon receipt of the reviewed full paper, edited papers should be sent back to the ESS organizing committee within the given time period.

  • Selected full papers which have been reviewed and edited will be published.
